DJANGO UNCHAINED

At the weekend, I saw the new Tarantino film. It was incredible and was very much in keeping with his well known style of cinematography. Jamie Foxx was a sick Django and I think all the characters were well chosen. If you're a Tarantino fan, then you will not be disappointed.

SNOW DAY

What is it about England and our inability to cope when the snow finally falls? Also everyone seems to hate it, I on the other hand LOVE snow. My family and I spent the day watching our Downton Abbey box set, drinking a variety of hot beverages, as well as a cheeky dip in the snow. Today, I felt like I was five again.

VALENTINO MENSWEAR FALL 13

The Menswear Fall collections I have seen so far, have been outstanding. However I have to say in my opinion, Valentino have come up trumps. With their sixties inspired pieces, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piciolli's aim was 'to show what you already know in a different way, with different eyes.' they have managed to mix a collection of houndstooth, black watch plaid and check, whilst adding panels of leather to many pieces. This isn't exactly unexpected after the love of leather that is everywhere at the moment, but in this collection it really adds something special. According to www.style.com, to modernise these timeless patterns, such as the black watch plaid 'The designers start with blue wool, stitch in green, and then overprint black to give shadows and depth.' Ordinary made extraordinary.

P.s. However, not a fan of the clutches for men.

Recently I have discovered, I actually have a bit of a thing for beautiful men with beards and I don't know whether most people would agree or think I'm going crazy. So I thought maybe I could sway those who don't agree, with a few snaps of some beautiful beardy men! Enjoy.

JANUARY BLUES

Christmas is over and with it goes the party season. So here comes the new year and the "new you". My plan is to blog more, be healthier and buy more clothes (who says all resolutions have to be bad?) resolutions are about testing yourself and seeing how strong your will power is, I'm excited to see if mine stick and if the resolutions close friends have made do too. One of the Christmas presents i received, was in fact an iPhone (hasn't left my side since) so here are just a few photos taken in the holiday season.
