Bank holidays are made for drinking, this May Day was no exception. However, myself and three friends decided to relocate ours to Paris, or more specifically Bastille.
Hands down my new favourite part of Paris and somewhere I have to get back to as soon as possible. It was central enough so it meant getting to all the touristy places was easy, but far enough away so we didn't feel like we were actually tourists.
We used the airbnb app to find our accommodation, which I can not recommend enough. It was such good value for money and staying in an apartment meant that we could stay in occasionally and cook some meals ourselves. Emulating the amazing Rachel Khoo of course!
Five days of too much red wine, croque monsieur, gin, cappuccinos, champagne and bread. BLISS.
Basically I have BASTILLE BLUES and I want to be back there, sipping on the best cappuccino of my life. Take me back!
